Vanquish Worldwide is continuing to grow its domestic government and commercial transportation business all the while providing ongoing excellence to clients across the globe.
On Saturday, May 2, 2015 Vanquish completed a roundtrip line haul for the U.S. Army Strategic Command’s 1st Space Brigade, providing trucks and trailers with drivers from Colorado Springs, Colo., to White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) in New Mexico.
This was the second contract with the 1st Space Brigade Forward as Vanquish was encouraged to submit a proposal to complete the second transportation assignment after receiving positive reviews following its first line haul contract completed earlier this year.
“Great pickup by your crew today; efficiency and professionalism with everything we threw at them,” Capt. Eric W. Olson, crew chief DET 7, with the 1st Space Brigade Forward, said in reference to the first contract.
These transportation contracts were two-leg, round trip assignments, providing multiple trucks and 48-foot flatbed trailers for each leg. Vanquish provided all labor, tools, materials, equipment and management necessary to successfully complete both contracts for the 1st Space Brigade Forward.
Vanquish’s first contract with the 1st Space Brigade Forward from Colorado Springs, Colo., to WSMR in White Sands, N.M., was initiated on Jan. 29, 2015 and completed on time on Feb. 21, 2015.
Upon initiation, Vanquish loaded three trucks, with drivers properly weight and distance licensed, and three 48-foot flatbed trailers to transport the 1st Space Brigade equipment, from Colorado to New Mexico.
The second contract was the same route and was initiated on April 20, 2015 from Colorado to New Mexico. On May 2, 2015, Vanquish provided three trucks to retrieve the trailers for return to Colorado Springs.
Jason Bothman, Vice President of Operations at Vanquish, said he believes Vanquish provides a wealth of services to its clients, including new, clean equipment and professional, safe drivers.
“They were impressed that we arrived in convoy formation,” Bothman said of the collaboration with 1st Space Brigade Forward.
