Maryville-based Vanquish Worldwide, a once grass-roots business which has become an international multimillion-dollar company, is celebrating its eighth anniversary.
In a news release, Vanquish Worldwide founder, President and CEO Eric W. Barton attributed the company’s success to continuous strategic moves.
With specialties in transportation, logistics, security services, facility support, vehicle maintenance, manpower and project management services, Vanquish continues to expand its client base, bringing significant revenue growth year after year.
The daily focus on quality work and “delivering excellence” differentiates Vanquish as a top-rated contracting firm, Barton said. Positive reviews from current clients are well documented and continue to lead to the company’s coast-to-coast growth in both the government and commercial sectors, he said.
“As we enter our eighth year supporting the government overseas and across the U.S., our commitment to providing unparalleled service and reliability is steadfast, and it shows since we continue to not only win contracts but work past the base years into option periods on our contracts,” Barton said.
Second contract for Army
In May, Vanquish completed a second contract for the U.S. Army Strategic Command’s 1st Space Brigade and recently began its third year on two other government contacts in the U.S.:
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 10 Warehouse Equipment Services contract in Seattle, Wash., Portland, Ore., and Anchorage, Alaska.
- United States Marine Corps (USMC) Flight Line Vehicle Maintenance contract in Beaufort, S.C., Cherry Point and New River, N.C.
- Additionally, Vanquish Worldwide has been providing support base services to the U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii (USAG-HI) at installations across Oahu since September 2012.
‘Focus time’
Slow periods in government spending over the last few years translated to “focus time” for Vanquish’s business development and transportation teams; hence the birth of Vanquish Logistics, an addition of its transportation division, in 2013. Vanquish now supports over 50 commercial clients providing superior ground carrier services to all 50 states and Canada.
“Our diversification into the commercial transportation sector has allowed us to achieve steady growth and fine-tune our transportation and logistics expertise,” Barton said. “Even as government shutdowns and sequestration nearly paralyzed the government contracting industry, we were able to stay our course and expand our services.”
