
Dr. Eric W. Barton serves as the Company’s chief executive leader, guiding its vision, culture, strategic growth, and overall direction. As CEO of Vanquish Worldwide, he provides enterprise-level leadership across all areas of the organization, establishing standards for performance, accountability, operational excellence, and long-term success.
A United States Marine Corps veteran and entrepreneur, Dr. Barton founded Vanquish Worldwide in 2007 and has grown the Company into an operationally and financially strong, VA-verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business providing facility support, logistics, manpower, security, information technology, and construction services to government and commercial clients. Under his leadership, the Company has expanded into a multi-state federal contractor supporting critical missions for U.S. Government customers across multiple operating locations.
Dr. Barton brings extensive executive leadership experience in government contracting, organizational development, and enterprise operations. Throughout his career, he has overseen contract portfolios totaling more than $2.5 billion in cumulative value and supported organizations employing thousands of personnel across the United States, Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. His leadership philosophy emphasizes disciplined execution, accountability, strategic growth, and building high-performing organizations capable of operating in complex and demanding environments. Under his direction, Vanquish Worldwide continues to expand its federal footprint while strengthening its reputation as a trusted mission support partner to U.S. Government clients.
Prior to leading Vanquish Worldwide, Dr. Barton held senior leadership roles supporting federal programs in overseas contingency and operational environments, where he provided executive oversight for large-scale logistics, infrastructure, and support operations. He began his military career in the United States Marine Corps at age 17, serving 11 years as both an enlisted Marine and Mustang Officer. During his service, he received numerous awards and commendations for leadership and performance, including meritorious promotion to Lieutenant. As a Captain, he served as Senior Intelligence Analyst for the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa, where he led intelligence analysis operations and delivered strategic briefings to senior military leadership.
Dr. Barton earned a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and has held certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE). He continues to set the standard for leadership, accountability, culture, and operational performance throughout the organization.
